Malaysia sets up offline visa centres in India
Visa offices in Delhi, Mumbai & Chennai to curb fraudulent websites

With a view to counter websites fraudulently claiming to provide visas for Malaysia to Indian visitors, the Malaysian government has set up offline centres in three Indian cities to make it easier for Indian nationals to get Malaysian visa in a seamless manner.
In order to enhance the ease of getting Malaysian visa for Indian visitors, the Malaysian government has set up three physical centres in the key cities of New Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai. According to a press statement, with various websites falsely claiming to be authorised visa providers for Malaysian visas, the government decided to set up the offline centres.
To operate the centres, the Malaysian government has awarded a joint venture of Malaysian firm, Temenggong Holdings, and Indian company, Raizing Global. According to the press statement, the joint venture company has begun accepting applications.
